EMR (Electronic Medical Record)
The heart of our healthcare solution is the EMR module. It helps physicians in handling all their day-to-day activities like on line ordering of investigation, procedures, drugs and consumables along with capturing of diagnosis of patients. The module also helps the physician in retrieving patient medical records and in decision making like drug allergy indication and problems.
EMR module follows the basic four steps for patient check up which is called SOAP.
Subjective

Analysis
- Diagnosis as per subjective and objective examination.
Planning
- Procedure for diagnosed diseases and planning includes Medication (prescription), Lab order, X-ray order, Referral Order (whether to go to Ophthalmologist, Gynecologist), Immunization/Injection.

Laboratory Module
The laboratory module is tightly integrated with other modules and can receive requests for lab tests from other modules like Provider Desktop manager, Nursing station and Operation Room (OR).
This module integrates with medical equipments and supports bi-directional interfaces for the equipments. It covers processes like order collection, patient check-in, sample collection, test processing, report preparation and report dispatch.
Further, the features of the Laboratory Module are listed below.
- Supports setup of profiles with facility to include a profile within another profile.
- Single window result entry facility provided for all the orders of a patient.
- Online Ordering System to receive orders requested by physicians, nursing stations and departments.
- Ability to define main laboratory categories and assign all laboratory tests to their category (such as Bio chemistry, hematology etc)
- The specimen is tracked through each step from collection to receipt in the laboratory, processing, test completion and result reporting.
- Patient, collection, test, and specimen labels can be printed that includes container type and volume requirements
- Bar code format set up
- The order priority can be set to Normal, Urgent or Emergency while ordering.
- Investigation turn around times can be reported as the time is captured at each stage – order receipt, sample collection and result entry.
- The hospital can select and configure its services to international code of its choice. (ICD 10 PCS, ICD 10 CM).
- Reagents, chemicals and consumables can be indented electronically.
- Sample can be rejected and collected again with a fresh number if the samples is spoiled or damaged.
Radiology module
The Radiology module of ERP offers a comprehensive system to cater to all the requirements of the Radiology Department. It provides for scheduling of appointment for examinations, examination processing, post examination results reporting and film tracking.
Appointments can be scheduled to various clinics for examinations to be conducted. Timetables can be set up for different clinics with details of the days and times on which the clinic operates, so that the time slots can be allotted to specific patients.
Appointment cards are generated and handed over to patients along with the instructions to be followed before coming for attending the examination. Appointments can be canceled if required. Groups of days can be blocked/unblocked for various reasons by the department.
The System has the capability to approve correctness of radiology orders. Such a feature is assigned only to authorized laboratory users. Radiology test turn around times can be reported as the time is captured at each stage – order receipt, test performance and result entry.

Admission – Transfer – Discharge (ADT) Module
The ADT module of the IDMSys tracks all the Admissions, Discharges and Transfers in a hospital. It handles the creation of temporary beds and allotting them to patients and deleting these beds etc. It also supports facilities like admitting baby to mother’s bed and linking mother and baby in patient numbers etc. The bed type, location and tariff are mapped to each bed.
The features of the ADT module are listed below.
- The system has the ability to do pre-admission activities like block bed, book medical equipment, book operation room, collect advance against the expected admission. A user friendly graphical interface displays the bed availability status.
- The system comes with a complete pre discharge process.
- The system has the capability to record all medical staff involved in the patient’s care process.
- The system captures all payment details like insurance coverage or employer details in case of corporate clients.
- Against each admission, the system records and displays all the details including orders, results, surgeries, procedures, medications and all patient encounter information.
- The system has the ability to print personalized discharge instructions that indicates all departments involved. Prescription, and follow up appointments of the patient can be prepared at the time of discharge.
- The system can also generate a discharge summary based on the details available in the System.
- The system automatically releases the bed when a patient is discharged or transferred out to be handed over to the housekeeping department for cleaning and disinfection.
